The other was in 'Entertainment Weekly', the Ewan MacGregor and Cameron Diaz cover, and they gave it a _B_. Unfortunately, they didn't cite POE. To those of you who want to know what 'SpiceWorld' is going to be about, but don't want to waste a single penny, someone saw an advance screening and has posted his review on the Internet. http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Hills/7343/update.htm (then click on 'SpiceWorld') If you really want to see this movie, or if you really like the Spice Girls, then don't read this review. On a lighter note, has anyone seen the Jack-in-the-Box commericial with some Spice Girls-clones? Has to be the funniest commericial of the year! Okay, I'll leave now... I have been a fan for quite some time now. Some of you may remember my concern over liking "Say You'll Be There" a few months ago. Well, I never got over that and ended up buying the CD. I still like all the same music i listened to before, i just felt like broadening my musical tastes. In their defense: they dont lip sync. That is apparent because they are not very good singers to begin with. Only Melanie Chisholm has any discernable talent. Geri was almost kicked out of the group because she sucked so badly. She took some singing lessons and now just sort of raps her lyrics. As for them being fabricated, yes they were, but it was not some guy that saw them and decided to make them stars (ala Milli Vanilli). the father and son manager team that invented them did hold a try out and something like 400 girls tried out, so the five that made it had to have some skills to make the cut. Keep that in mind before you bash them. also remember that they have sold something like 15 million albums and even though i am not impressed by large album sales, obviously someone likes them enough to spend money on them. I am just doing my good part by admitting I actually bought the album, as well as some singles. Ta ta for now!
