I know, there is plenty of Real Audio out there, though, this is unreleased music. Currently there are eight different techno/dance versions of Hello. These were release by Atlantic Records only a month ago to clubs and the song (Edge Factor Dub) has reached #4 on the Billboard Dance Club Chart (8/17/97). Until I determine how legal this is; this music is only available to Angry-Psychos. Because of your association to POE you get it. Enjoy and respect the password... Meaning... Don't give it out. There is nobody that needs to have it and everybody on the Angry Psychos list will get it. PLEASE... If somebody says they lost the password, have them ask me for it - lost@poe.org... I don't need to be illegally responsible for extending a gift from POE. And, until you have experienced a high-end Mac, you don't know the meaning of exitement! Granted, a quick PC can be very thrilling, but meaningless. Though a Mac takes longer to master, in the end it is this mastery that makes it worth the effort, and MORE! Me, my Mac turned into a PC and erased my hard drive. I am left, however, with a mini-computer. (note that I said nothing about a palmtop, it hasn't quite been long enough to consider one... ha ha) As for metaphors, I think its okay to refer to a Macintosh as a Mac, don't you?!? Perhaps I'm taking to much frustration out on her, but... I've just become very frustrated with the content of my mail. I'm on the list, and have been from the beginning, for conversation on and about POE and their Angry Psychos. I've begged Jarrod to split the list into two parts. Poe. And other stuff (sXe, meat, religion, and the like). Hopefully that will be coming soon. Then (anal retentive ppl) as I apparently am, can sub to only the POE part and other ppl can sub to both. I'm not saying that the off-subject conversations are worthless, just that they are to me. I'm looking for posts from the friends I've met during the 7 POE shows I've attended as an AP. Or new friends I will meet in the future. I'm not interested in sXe, gays, smokers, and the like that I've had to delete from my mail every day. I'm interested in the ppl, but not the conversations. Yes I know where my delete key is, I just don't want to wear it out. I was just celebrating the lull in off topic mail and Rose, and a few others, was incouraging it to begin anew. That was NEVER the purpose of this list. Tell me about Monterey, plans for another gathering, maybe even the possibilities of another concert soon. I don't believe I'm being asinine. Actually, it's not Win95 which crashed, It was probably caused by poor coding on the original programmers part. Hence, you were both wrong. Win95 didn't crash, the PC didn't crash, it's the lovely little program which was running that decided to try and scribble it's information all over the operating system. FYI - Macs crash just as much as PC's but PC's cost less $$$. PC's have more software available. PC's are cheaper to custom tailor to your needs. PC's have cooler games. PC's have better networking capabilities. PC's rule the 'Net. I'll take a command line any day over a frekkin inefficient GUI. Let's see you write a batch file on your mac! I can backup my hard drive with a 2 letter command! I can do BETTER GRAPHICS on my crappy PC than you can do on your expensive mac! When you have a problem with a PC, you can do something to fix it. You can hack with a PC. You can write better programs on a PC. (you can write the fastest on a UNIX station though) Text is faster than graphics. Icons are too cumbersome for mass-file organization. Folders take too long to navigate through. MTV is rerunning the episode of luvline tonight w/that girl POE. Here it's @ 10:30p, but check you local listings for showtime. Since I have missed this like twice already, its time to get a blank tape out and do some advanced programming on the VCR. Anyone know how to make it stop flashing 12:00a?????? p.s. loung-a-POE-luza is supposed to be a compilation album by various artist. The twist is that the songs are either old lounge/vegas style acts singing newer songs(I have heard Wayne Newton is doing Fell on Black Days) or lounge songs being performed by newer artist. Since POE has been influenced by jazz, she is contributing one of the two original tracks on the album(rose is a rose), but I can't remember who sings the other. Basically, some of you have to take a look at the AP Welcome letter again and read some of the guidelines. For instance, try and keep you non-POE post to a minimum (try and remember that your here mainly for POE content) and try to replying via private mail (not to the list). Also, and this is an important one, you MUST code your non-POE posts with NPR. These have been some of the major problem that we have been having on the list recent.please help me resolve them by following the guidelines. If anyone needs another copy of the AP Welcome message with the guidelines.you can get it from poe.org or by sending a message to majordomo@some.org with `info angry-psychos' as the body (without quotes).
