I've decided the only fair way to decide on a location and get the best turnout is to do a poll. Everybody in the northeast that would be interested in going will e-mail me with the city you live in and about how far you are willing to drive. Obviously some people may not be able to come but this seems to be more fair then any other way and will give the best turn out. Once everyone agrees this is the best method or comes up with a better one, we can get the ball rolling on a location. If this seems fair or if you have a better suggestion let me know. This is the time to show all of the doubters that the AP's aren't the bunch of whiny arguers that some people have been saying we are. Just wondering. Also, whoever went, didn't The Selket suck. That lady was wierd. Big 5 kicked ass and of course No Doubt was AWESOME! Gwen was just too cool. Synopsis of show for all: 6:30 p.m.- Big 5 opens and kicks ultimate butt. Cover a Ramones tune and sound kinda like a heavy Green Day. 7:30 p.m. The England group The Selket play. A couple of good songs, but too "poppy" for these ears. Also, the singer was plain out ANNOYING. 8:30-8:45 p.m. NO DOUBT takes stage with gwen wearing a black fur coat and posing as the source of ultimate power. Rips into Tragic Kingdom and goes nuts from there. Quote from Gwen "wouldn't it be cool if every fucking person was jumping?" Other note worthy events- 1. Gwen makes guys sing "I'm just a girl" and then yells "got you guys" 2. Crowd singing Don't Speak for at least one verse and Gwen almost crying over it. 3. Gwen asking us if our town was shit. 4. Crowd interaction and singing of Sunday Morning. 5. Intermission- Group plays the Darth Vadar march from Star Wars 6. Cover of some Sublime tune 7. Crowd beating chairs till they come back and close with Spiderwebs. If you get a chance to see them, it's great. Also, if you were there, I was in section E row Y and was looking for some AP's.
