BUT I just found a different online pager with versions for the Macintosh AND PC. here is the dowload site: http://www.ichat.com/pager/ If you have never heard of an online pager, go to this site and read about it.... they are really cool. If you have trouble launching the mac PPC version (like i did), just go back and download the 68K version, that worked for me. It only takes 5 min to dowload at 28.8. Let me know if you get one, cuz I don't have anyone to page yet. And for all you ICQ users who have been ragging on me because I don't have it, well go download this pager too so you can converse with us Mac users! emily ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Jun 1997 22:36:36 +0200 (MET DST) From: LisAngel Subject: Re:Poe Related but Insignificant >I was flipping over to VHI when I heard a VJ say "Now I'm ready for my >closeup Mr. Demille..." but she wasn't talking about Poe or anything, she >just said it... Well, you said to e-mail you about myself so here I am. My name is Jillian Baker and I live in Carol Stream, IL. I'm a 14/f and I go to Glenbard North. I first heard Poe on the radio("Hello") and I liked the song, yet I didn't know it was her singing. I liked the song but I didn' t really bother to find out who sang it. Then, at a party, my friend Connie (who i believe is also an Angry-Psycho) brought the cd. I listened to Trigger Happy Jack and immediately fell in love with her music. Two weeks later I went out and bought the whole cd. Now, i listen to it constantly and I know the words to every song. Other music I listen to is stuff by METALLICA, A.M., KoRn, and Bush. I like No doubt too. If anybody wants to talk e-mail me. I'd love to talk. I suppose it would be in the fantasy category. The scene is a group of Brigands led by an experienced man named Damascus. They are marching toward the city of Greenridge to sack it. Character Description: He is a brigand from the Northern lands. He is quiet, detached, yet determined and skillfull. He is flush with honor and a thirst for learning. He is Damascus's favorite. Name choices: Aleister, Lyster, Tapperhet, Huggtann Background: Aleister is Scottish, I think it means spear, I might be wrong -- This is the current name Lyster is Norwegian for spear Tapperhet is Norwegian for Courage -- This is what I think I'm going to choose Huggtann is Norwegian for Fang or Tusk I know there is a Norwegian AP so maybe you can help me on my Norsk? I made the private Planet Hollywood party where Poe performed, but didn't get to see the performance as, being a member of the press, we just had too much work to do that night and I was only able to hang out momentarily. My name is Martin and I'm 17/M. I am a co-founder of Titania Publications, and I work for EnterMedia (a Titania subsidiary)-- which is an online entertainment Web site-- doing editorial and gaming coverage from our HQ in Nashville. I first heard of the Angry Psycho's at the party this past week and figured, "Why not join?" I know there's a few members in Nashville, but I wouldn't know who. Feel free and drop me a line, though! My first encounter with Poe was at a little local java shop called Bongo Java on the Vanderbilt University college campus. She was doing an acoustic performance, and the drummer forgot his bongos. He used a bucket from the kitchen instead. I still remember it vividly because Poe signed the bucket "Angry Nathaniel" and gave it to my friend, Nate. We all had photo's signed and got some cool key chains from a local radio station, who I now do frequent business with. If anything I like Hello, the remix. The original is just too slow for me. But if there was one favorite song, Fly Away would have to be it. Choking the Cherry always gets me in a good mood, too. For those video gamer's out there, you might want to check out Activision's new PSX game, APOCALYPSE. It stars Bruce Willis and Poe, which explains why she was at the PH party in Atlanta. Cheers!
