You're on the honors system, and I hope you won't abuse that privalege. GET THEM TO ME!! Jarrod--I never got that message back. You must have gotten it. EJ--sorry about any hurt feelings. I miss you... Allan--come to think of it, I hope you don't dress up like that more than once a year. Has Cameron QUIT the band?" messages... here's the scoop... in detail: Cameron Stone is no longer the cello player for Poe... they had an arguement and could not resolve their differences... so he quit... JUST KIDDING!!!!!!! Cameron wasn't able to make it to the Rochester show because he already had a prior commitment to play a friend's (NOT HIS OWN!) wedding... SO... Kevin was recruited for probably only ONE show... and he did an awesome job... for only being with the band for two days and all... and he's ALMOST as awesome as Cam is on cello... noone can ever replace or compare to Cam though... he was VERY missed... Jones on backing vocals was cool though... and the show is very unique when compared to other POE shows I have on tape... that's the scoop guys... please stop writing me and the list asking what happened to Cam now... okay? ej ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 18 May 1997 21:37:15 -0700 From: "Ed Hurtley" Subject: Re: *NPR* This tripped me out... (Cameron) OK, from what I gathered at the show... Cameron was at his best friend's wedding yesterday (he told me this himself while we were in DC). Kevin (the cello player yesterday) is a friend of Cam's and Cam actually helped him "train" for the show and stuff. However, I also heard that Cam doesn't want to tour anymore. I don't know if it's true or not... just something I overheard. But rest assured, though I love Cameron to death (he is cool as shit to us), Kevin is also very cool and an excellent cello player. He did an amazing job... his music kept flying away, he got rained (poured) on, and it was his first day on the job, yet he was great and I don't think anyone who isn't an AP would have noticed anything amiss. I have to give him major credit. Yes, Cam "draws" a better cello... but what can you do???? P.S. Rochester review coming soon.... as soon as I can get my head together!!!
