B-Sides usually don't >>become album songs, but "Rose Is A Rose" (Which I'm still looking for, >>people, help me out) and "Anything" might be. (also looking for this) "padre fear" originally appeared on the cd maxi single for "trigger..." which is long out of print. however, if you look around, you still may be able to find this cd. the song is also the last song on side a of tape tree #1. "a rose is a rose" is on the "lounge-a-palooza" cd due out in july on hollywood records. a bootleg version of "anything" appears on tape tree #2. "how long" can be found just about anywhere when it comes to tapes. the song is on tape tree #1 with the whole band, and on tape tree #2 acoustic. poe has performed this song just about every where since they wrote it. according to poe, this song was tracked way back in janurary of 96, so it would be a good guess that it will be on the next record. want tape tree #1 or #2? post to the list and ask. i'm sure some one will help you out. give it another week or so untill tree #2 has time to finish it's run. if any of you have any radio stuff with poe (interviews, in-studio, etc) please contact me, as i am compiling the last "non approved by poe" tape tree. this one will simply be a radio compilation. no bootlegs or remixes, just good old FM radio. it won't be (and can't be) called "ap tape tree" since it will be un approved by poe. she has asked to approve all future tape trees. however, if we compile a simple tape consisting of radio stuff, there is not much to be approved since it was recorded and aired for promotion. so, bring those tapes on and let's see what we can do. i'm sure some of you have some great stuff! - -rusty you can reach rusty at: agentorange2@juno.com or rusty@poe.org see my link's page on the web: http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Palms/5226/ ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 9 May 1997 02:41:21 -0500 (EST) From: Padre Fear Subject: Kinda NPR: New Homepage Okay, here's the deal... Just thought it was a cool piece of trivia to share. Second thing, I was thinking, when we were in Richmond, we talked to Poe about her troubles with Warner Br. and the Batman soundtrack. Then I was looking through a movie preview guide that I have for up and coming summer sci-fi movies, and I though if Warner Br. thinks she's too dark, why doesn't she go to TVT and try and get on the soundtrack for Mortal Kombat Annialation. It's coming out in August, and they use all kinds of cool bands on their soundtracks. Another one coming up this summer is the Spawn movie. TVT is probably doing that soundtrack too, because it's also a New Line Cinema film. Just a thought. One last thing, my web page is up, for anyone who wants to check it out. It's kinda fun.
