"What sane parents would let their kids go to Richmond?" but anyways.. a monkeywrench has been thrown into some plans.. some easy fixes.. Kristina: I'm still getting 3 shirts.. letter went into mail today... hotel room: only a dollar or two more I think...and I think nothing else matters too much to worry about...the only thing that could cause a problem... I have an extra DC ticket bought for me by Gregg. Is there anyone who needs this ticket? Don't worry Gregg, if the ticket ends up not being used, I'll be responsible for the cost. sigh.. one day I'm asking for an extra ticket, the next I'm looking to give one away.. the twists of fate we go through.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ed ehunsing@bgsm.edu ed@poe.org `````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` There are no strangers in this world, just friends we've never met. If you are heading eastbound on the 10 Freeway (San Bernardino Freeway), exit the Kellog Drive exit 42. Follow Kellog Drive to either University Drive or Red Gum Lane. It appears there is plenty of parking there. Then proceed toward the Visitor Information Center. Call (909) 869-7659 for more detailed info during business hours. Cal Poly is right off the Freeway and the Visitors Information Center and University Park *should* be fairly easy to find. If you can get there early, I suggest gathering at the Visitors Info Center around 4:30 or 5:00. Or just look around for AP-looking folk gathering near the stage. I still don't know what kind of seating there is, if any. Show starts at 6:30. There are 3 bands scheduled before Poe. "...I'll see you there..." I'm new to this list and just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Mary, but most people call me MC or Supervixen. I'm a graduating senior at Cal State Fullerton, but I work at Cal Poly Pomona (where, by the way, Poe is performing tonight right across the way fron my office...cool deal). I'm 23 years old...hmmm, is there anything else I'm missing? Oh yeah, I first heard Poe on a local radio station and I loved her. Her songs seem to fit the general mood I've been in since birth (namely on the verge of psychosis and neurosis). Although I love Poe and her music, I do listen to a plethora of music and groups. I really like the groups 311, Garbage, Live, Squirrel Nut Zippers (kind of a swing/jazz type band), Jamiroquai...I could go on, but I'd sound like a rambling fool. Come to think of it, I'm beginning to sound like one right now. There's not much else to me, but hopefully y'all will learn to like me anyway...dammit. Okay, ba-bye!
