It was only a page long and definately not worth buying. I think that she should definately receive more coverage than that and she deserves it more than some other not-so-happy female rockers who will remain unmentioned. It talks about a concert that i went to!!!IN New Haven CT, and it has a couple pics of her. It's pretty cool check it out! Please tell them you want alt.music.poe newgroup in Alt.config so i am not the only one.. (that is why they said no.. unless my Serice adds it) They said if we can set up a good Mailing list we can have a shot at a Newsgroup just for POE but right now they said they are too busy to set it up. >> bleah.. a Poe Newsgroup might not be the best idea... Newsgroups tend to turn to junk after a little bit... filling up with the make money fast and the post to multiple music newsgroups that never seem to end (Best album of the 80's anyone?) I personally would not choose to get on the newsgroup because everything I need dealing with Poe I can find on AP.... and dealing with the stuff that is in no way Poe related on the NG is a big pain.....but then again a newsgroup would be better for some people... I dunno it just kinda depends on your attitude...... I was just sitting here thinking, as I was sorting thru all this mail from a music mailing list that I run, just how dedicated and thoughtful Jarrod is to everyone. He has invested so much time and energy into the POE.ORG page and the Angry Psychos "organization." He deserves a big hug, round of applause, and a heartfelt THANK YOU from me! You're doing a wonderful job, Jarrod. GRACIAS from the bottom of my heart! Keep up the good work and never lose faith, babe! - -Christine ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 2 Feb 1997 19:38:23 -0700 (MST) From: Jarrod Subject: Re: Thank you, Jarrod... Muuuuuchho THANKS Christine, It only will evoleve if people continue to keep the vision. This is grass roots stuff. I love it. The internet at its peak efficiency. (one minor thing of all this work) YOU ARE STEPPING AROUND THE SECURITY GUARD, VIA THE INTERNET, AND MAKING IT POSSIBLE TO MEET POE. RIGHT FROM YOUR COMPUTER AND WITH A LITTLE COMMITMENT. Tell many. Spread the word - POE Support is invaluable. Jarrod On Sun, 2 Feb 1997, Stone_Roses wrote: > You're doing a wonderful job, Jarrod. GRACIAS from the bottom of my > heart! Spread the word - POE umm... is it my gemini characteristic of selfishness here or whatever when i say that if we spread the word about it, it will be harder and harder to meet POE? the more people that know about it, the harder it will get to have planned get togethers and reunions and this close relationship with POE. does this make sense? sorry... i'm like so out of it now. brette ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 02 Feb 1997 22:06:47 EST From: stabbiegrrl@juno.com (Stabbing Westward Kicks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
