If the Lawrence/ Kansas City area is lucky enough to be on Poe's touring schedule then i think it would be cool to get together beforehand... If we are organized maybe we could get some kind of special AP treatment (wishful thinking anyway). thanks, -emily ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 1 Feb 1997 12:08:30 -0500 (EST) From: Nihasa9@aol.com Subject: Re: NPR BUT MUSIC RELATED In a message dated 97-02-01 03:45:37 EST, Gavinobs18@aol.com writes: << Believe it or not in England (where I'm from) they're huge. I haven't received mine yet, but I believe Silverchair is on the cover. This is what the Launch page say about the Poe segment: "Be among the first multimedia pioneers to experience the groundbreaking technology of Quicktime-VR with an interactive fashion show starring alternative chanteuse Poe, whose tracks "Angry Johnny" and "Hello" are burning up the modern rock charts. See a backstage interview with Poe, during her break from the virtual runway." For more info go the Launch homepage http://www.launchonline.com/. I think you can order the current issue from them. If anyone has a problem find it, let me know and I'll try and pick it up for you. Goforth" Subject: NPC: Crows concert Sorry I've not posted in awhile...been busy being depressed. I thought the concert was great, but most everybody I've talked to didn't think the same. They thought the crows should've played exactly the way they do on their albums.....and here I thought it probably took a few times to sound like that, as well as some studio mixing and enhancements. People are never satisfied(expect you guys out there that go to Poe's concerts). Anyhow, I kinda of lost interest about the concert because when I got home, I found out from my parents that my grandpa had passed away. It has hit me pretty hard. I won't be here tomorrow or monday, so any posts to me will be late getting a reply from me. I better head out and prepare to go home for the funeral........keep on keeping on, boyz and girlz. The wheel of life never stops turning, but it does crush those that get caught beneath it....
