(this was also re-run on new years day as part of the "best of live x") anyway, marsha (my girlfriend) says "this is that song you played for me"... she thought it was "beautiful girl"... i said, "no, that is the last song"...what marsha thought was "beautiful girl" was actually "fly away"... we were listening from the other room... so, after "beautiful girl" (which we all thought was the end of the show), "choking the cherry" came on! i was so mad! they never played this song earlier this year! and i didn't even think they recorded that song! they told us they didn't! you see, i was at the recording. alot of us had brought cameras to take pictures.... the radio people told us we couldn't take pictures while they were recording because the clicks would show up on tape... so, when the were done they said "good job guys... you made it right at the end of the tape!"... each band only gets 30 min. when recording one of these shows.... so, poe being the goddess of nice-ness that she is, had the band play 2 more songs with her so we could take pictures... the songs they played were "choking the cherry" and "dolphin"...and the were supposedly not recorded.... well, i guess atleast one of them was. those black and white pictures that you all may have seen, came from that song! and what even sux more is that that day they could not find the mega-phone... so, poe did the song with out it. oh well, that's the first thing that has sucked this year. anyone know when "lovelines" will be re-run? - -rusty you can reach rusty at: agentorange2@juno.com or agentorange@mindspring.com visit me on the web: "Disconnected Modem": http://members.aol.com/TAPList/modem.html my POE pictures are up at: http://www.enter.net/~husselman/poe.html those pictures i was talking about can be found at both of these web sites. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 6 Jan 1997 09:38:59 -0800 From: BYRNES3@webtv.net (Max Klein) Subject: Re: "Junkie" questions again Thanks!!! you made my morning. David Bowie is an outstanding performer! He really rocks. the labyrinth was good but The Hunger is absolutely my favourite movie. I think I know every word of it, and the soundtrack is so beautiful. You should definately see the film, It stars David, Catherin DeNeuve, and Susan Sarandon.
