Although I said thatI was sick of her, I did not mean that I hate Alanis = or that I don't relate to Poe. I was only saying that she gets far to = much airplay. I personally LIKED Alanis--why else would I have bought = the CD?--but I am so sick of hearing first "Ironic" then "You learn" and = now "head over feet"... When I first heard "you oughtta know" I loved = Alanis!! But as they released every single song on the CD i got sick. = i'm not saying I hate her, just that she would be far more appreciated = if she were not so overplayed. My theory on why Poe is not "HAPPENING" like Alanis is: There were so = many people who related to "you oughtta know" --the angry female getting = back at her boyfriend thing, so that started it. Then as they released = "hand in my pocket" (which pretty much flopped), more people started = likeing her. And more.. and more.. and more. The reason Poe is not so = well-loved is because HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE GOING TO RELATE TO A SONG = ABOUT A PSYCHO? I personlaly LOVE Poe but if I had heard "trigger happy = jack" I wouldn't have bought the CD. I bought it because I love Liz = Phair and Poe was compared to her. But mainly the reason is...
