Unlike wartime ship losses, in which a vessel lost to enemy action is said to be struck, decommissioning confers that the ship has reached the end of its usable life and is being retired from a country's navy. Depending on the naval traditions of the country, a ceremony commemorating the decommissioning of the ship may take place, or the vessel may be removed administratively with minimal fanfare. The term "paid off" is alternatively used in British and Commonwealth contexts, originating in the age-of-sail practice of ending an officer's commission and paying crew wages once the ship completed its voyage. Ship decommissioning usually occurs some years after the ship was commissioned and is intended to serve as a means by which a vessel that has become too old or obsolete can be retired with honor from the country's armed forces. Decommissioning of the vessel may also occur due to treaty agreements (such as the Washington Naval Treaty) or for safety reasons (such as a ship's nuclear reactor and associated parts reaching the end of their service life), depending on the type of ship being decommissioned. In a limited number of cases a ship may be decommissioned if the vessel in question is judged to be damaged beyond economical repair, as was the case with USS Hugh W. Hadley, or USS Halibut. In rare cases, a navy or its associated country may recommission or leave a ship that is old or obsolete in commission with the regular force rather than decommissioning the vessel in question due to the historical significance or public sentiment for the ship in question. This is the case with the ships USS Constitution and HMS Victory. Vessels preserved in this manner typically do not relinquish their names to other, more modern ships that may be in the design, planning, or construction phase of the parent nation's navy. Crew members and guest salute as the colors are paraded at the decommissioning ceremony of the salvage and rescue ship Grasp Prior to its formal decommissioning, the ship in question will begin the process of decommissioning by going through a preliminary step called inactivation or deactivation. During this phase, a ship will report to a naval facility owned by the country to permit the ship's crew to offload, remove, and dismantle the ship's weapons, ammunition, electronics, and other material that is judged to be of further use to the nation. The removed material from a ship usually ends up either rotating to another ship in the class with similar weapons and/or capabilities, or in storage pending a decision on equipment's fate. During this time a ship's cre ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 11 Nov 2021 08:00:00 -0800 From: reham nomeer Subject: =?UTF-8?B?2KfZhNio2LHZhtin2YXYrCDYp9mE2KrYr9ix2YrYqNmKIC8g2KfZh NmF2K3Yp9iz2KjYqQ==?= =?UTF-8?B?INin2YTYrtin2LXYqSDYqNij2YXZiNixINin2YTYrNix2K/ZiNiq2LPZiNmK 2KfYqtmH2Kcg2YjYp9mG?= =?UTF-8?B?2LTYp9ihINin2YTZgtmI2KfYptmFINin2YTZhdin2YTZitipINmE2YTYqtmI 2KfYtdmEIC8wMDIwMTA2?= =?UTF-8?B?Mjk5MjUxMA==?= *X'YX3YX'Y X9YY YY YX1X-YX) X'YYY YX(X1YX'X*Y,,,* *X*X*X4X1Y X'YX/X'X1 X'YX9X1X(Y X) YYX*YYY X) X'YX'X/X'X1Y X)* *X(X/X9YX*YY YYYX4X'X1YX) YY :* X'YX(X1YX'YX, X'YX*X/X1Y X(Y X'YYX-X'X3X(X) X'YX.X'X5X) X(X#YYX1 X'YX,X1X/ YX*X3YY X'X*YX' YX'YX4X'X! Sea trials usually take place some years after a vessel was laid down, and mark the interim step between the completion of a ship's construction and its official acceptance for service with its nation's navy. In 1999 the French carrier Charles De Gaulle began her sea trial phase, which identified the need for the flight deck to be extended for the safe operation of the E2C Hawkeye. Sea trials begin when the ship is floated out of its dry dock (or more rarely, moved by a vehicle to the sea from its construction hangar, as was the case with the submarine USS Virginia), at which time the initial crew for a ship (usually a skeleton crew composed of yard workers and naval personnel; in the modern era of increasingly complex ships the crew will include technical representatives of the ship builder and major system subcontractors) will assume command of the vessel in question. The ship is then sailed in littoral waters to test the design, equipment, and other ship specific systems to ensure that they work properly and can handle the equipment that they will be using in the future. Tests during this phase can include launching missiles from missile magazines, firing the ship's gun (if so equipped), conducting basic flight tests with rotary and fixed-wing aircraft that will be assigned to the ship, and various tests of the electronic and propulsion equipment. Often during this phase of testing problems arise relating to the state of the equipment on the ship, which can require returning to the builder's shipyard to address those concerns. In addition to problems with a ship's arms, armament, and equipment, the sea trial phase a ship undergoes prior to commissioning can identify issues with the ship's design that may need to be addressed before it can be accepted into service. During her sea trials in 1999 French Naval officials determined that the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle was too short to safely operate the E2C Hawkeye, resulting in her return to the builder's shipyard for enlargem ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 14 Nov 2021 11:06:23 -0800 From: ahad trining Subject: =?UTF-8?B?SHVtYW4gUmVzb3VyY2VzIE1hbmFnZXIgKEhSTSkg2YTZhNiq2YjYp 9i12YQgOiAwMDIwMQ==?= =?UTF-8?B?MDYyOTkyNTEw?= *X'YX/X'X1 X'YX9X1X(Y X) YYX*YYY X) X'YX'X/X'X1Y X)* *X*X/X9YYY YYYX4X'X1YX) YY :** X4YX'X/X)* YX/Y X1 YYX'X1X/ X(X4X1Y X) YX9X*YX/ Human Resources Manager (HRM) *X(YX'X!YYX8YYX)X'YYYX'X1X/X'YX(X4X1Y X)X'YYX*YX'YYX)* *X(X4YX'X/X) YX9X*YX/X) YYYX+YX) * *X'YYX'X9X) X'YX'YX*X1X'X6Y X) X2YYYYY YY X-X'YX) X*X9X0X1 X'YX-X6YX1 YYYX'YX1X) * *YY **21**X'YY **25** YYYYX(X1 **2021**Y* *YYX/YX):* - *X4YX'X/X) YX/Y X1 X'YYYX'X1X/ X'YX(X4X1Y X) X'YYX9X*YX/ YX'X-X/ YY X'YY X%Y YY Y YY X'YX#YY X9YY X'YX#X7YX'Y YYY X'YX1X'X:X(Y Y YY X'YX9YY X(YX,X'Y X'X/X'X1X) X'YYYX'X1X/ X'YX(X4X1Y X)X X-Y X+ X*X9X/ X'YX/X'X1 X'YX9X1X(Y X) YYX*YYY X) X'YX'X/X'X1Y X) YY X'YX'X&Y X'YYX1X'YX2 X'YX*X/X1Y X(Y X) X'YX*Y X'YX*YX* X(X'X6X'YX) X'YYYX'X1X/ X'YX(X4X1Y X) X(YX'YX) X*X.X5X5X'X*YX' X'YY X'YX.X7X) X'YX*X/X1Y X(Y X) X'YX.X'X5X) X(YX'X YYX/ YX'Y YX&X'X* X'YYX*X/X1X(Y Y X(X'YX-X5YY X9YY X4YX'X/X) X/X(YYY X'X/X'X1X) X'YYYX'X1X/ X'YX(X4X1Y X) YY X'YX/X'X1 X'YX9X1X(Y X) X-Y X* X*Y X'X9X/X'X/YY YX'X*X'YY .* - *X%X9X/X'X/ YYX'X/X1 X9X1X(Y X) YX'X/X1X) X9YY YY X'X/X) YX$X3X3X'X* X'YX'X9YX'Y YY YX' Y X*X9YY X(X%X/X'X1X) X'YYYX'X1X/ X'YX(X4X1Y X)X YYX'X/X1X) X9YY X*YX/Y Y X'YX/X9Y X'YYYYY YX'YYYY YYX$X3X3X'X*YX'.* *X'YX'YX/X'Y :* *1- X*X.X7Y X7 X'YX'X-X*Y X'X,X'X* YY X'YYYX'X1X/ X'YX(X4X1Y Y * *2- X'YX-X5YY X9YY X'YYYX'X1X/ X'YX(X4X1Y Y YX*X/X1Y X(YX' YX*X-YY X2YX' YX*X1YY X*YX' * *3- X*X.X7Y X7 YX*YYY Y X'YYX3X'X1 X'YYX8Y YY YYYYX'X1X/ X'YX(X4X1Y Y * *4- X%X/X'X1Y X*X/X1Y X( YX*YYY Y YYX'X1X'X* YX/Y X1Y X'YYYX'X1X/ X'YX(X4X1Y Y * *5- X'YX#X3X'YY X( X'YX-X/Y X+Y YY X*X7YY X1 YX(YX'X! His father, Edgar Reynolds, was a civil servant working as a national health insurance clerk. The family of his mother, Hester Hale, had moved to Wales from the English county of Somerset in the previous generation. William Hale, his maternal grandfather, exerted a strong influence on Reynolds during his childhood; a coal miner by profession, he shared with Reynolds a passion for gardening, leading his grandson to join a society for natural history in Cardiff. Supported by the naturalists Bruce Campbell and A. E. Wade, he wrote his first publications on the birds of the Caerphilly Basin. Reynolds attended Caerphilly Grammar School and won a scholarship to study Modern languages at The Queen's College, Oxford. Due to a short-lived regulation stipulating that holders of state scholarships attend the institution nearest to their hometown, he did not take up his place, enrolling instead at University College Cardiff in 1947. Reynolds initially focussed on French and Italian and spent some time at the UniversitC per Stranieri di Perugia in Italy. Influenced by the Latinist R. G. Austin, he increasingly turned to the study of Latin, culminating in the award of a first-class degree in 1950. With Austin's support, Reynolds went on to obtain a scholarship for a second undergraduate degree at St John's College, Cambridge. He completed the Classical Tripos, the Classics degree offered by the University of Cambridge, in two years instead of the usual three and received several awards for his performance, including a Craven Fellowship from the university. At St John's, he made the acquaintance of Bryan Peter Reardon, an expert on Ancient Greek novels, the Plato scholar Michael Stokes, and the Latinist John Patrick Sullivan. In 1952, after travelling to Greece, Reynolds began his national service at the Royal Air Force, where most of his time was spent studying Russian in a programme introduced by the linguist Elizabeth Hill. After completing the course, he lodged with a Russian C)migrC) in Paris to improve his fluency in spoken Russian. He left the air force after two years with the rank of pilot office ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 14 Nov 2021 06:35:47 -0500 From: "Paranoid" Subject: Biblical Joint Remedy Leaving Biblical Scholars and Doctors Speechless Biblical Joint Remedy Leaving Biblical Scholars and Doctors Speechless http://secretgrowplus.us/rM0J05RikpIElULnKkz4SzoqnIRK_Pdl4Rul9oBrtSecGvVFgw http://secretgrowplus.us/NIEmH5nodQqqoZ_bLnHZJddKHIjKbbJ6co9SPBvWw5fFxF3ACA tional oil painting techniques often begin with the artist sketching the subject onto the canvas with charcoal or thinned paint. Oil paint is usually mixed with linseed oil, artist grade mineral spirits, or other solvents to make the paint thinner, faster or slower-drying. (Because the solvents thin the oil in the paint, they can also be used to clean paint brushes.) A basic rule of oil paint application is 'fat over lean', meaning that each additional layer of paint should contain more oil than the layer below to allow proper drying. If each additional layer contains less oil, the final painting will crack and peel. The consistency on the canvas depend on the layering of the oil paint. This rule does not ensure permanence; it is the quality and type of oil that leads to a strong and stable paint film. There are other media that can be used with the oil, including cold wax, resins, and varnishes. These additional media can aid the painter in adjusting the translucency of the paint, the sheen of the paint, the density or 'body' of the paint, and the ability of the paint to hold or conceal the brushstroke. These aspects of the paint are closely related to the expressive capacity of oil paint. Traditionally, paint was most often transferred to the painting surface using paintbrushes, but there are other methods, including using palette knives and rags. Palette knives can scrape off any paint from a canvas, it can also be used for application. Oil paint remains wet longer than many other types of artists' materials, enabling the artist to change the color, texture or form of the figure. At times, the painter might even remove an entire layer of paint and begin anew. This can be done with a rag and some turpentine for a time while the paint is wet, but after a while the hardened layer must be scraped off. Oil paint dries by oxidation, not evaporation, and is usually dry to the touch within a span of two weeks (some colors dry within day ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V14 #7866 **********************************************
