The most notable Philippine variety show is the longest-running Eat Bulaga, which premiered in 1979 and has aired on RPN, ABS-CBN, and GMA Network in the succeeding years. Recently many other TV networks are different formats of variety. It's Showtime has shown great popularity and interest to Filipino viewers. Mexico Siempre en Domingo premiered in 1969 with RaC:l Velasco hosting. It became Mexico's longest-running variety series, remaining on Televisa until 1998.
