There are several standard measurements which can be madebfrom the beak's tip to the point where feathering starts on the forehead, from the tip to the anterior edge of the nostrils, from the tip to the base of the skull, or from the tip to the cere (for raptors and owls)(p342)band scientists from various parts of the world generally favor one method over another. In all cases, these are chord measurements (measured in a straight line from point to point, ignoring any curve in the culmen) taken with calipers. The shape or color of the culmen can also help with the identification of birds in the field. For example, the culmen of the parrot crossbill is strongly decurved, while that of the very similar red crossbill is more moderately curved. The culmen of a juvenile common loon is all dark, while that of the very similarly plumaged juvenile yellow-billed loon is pale towards the tip. Gonys The gonys is the ventral ridge of the lower mandible, created by the junction of the bone's two rami, or lateral plates.(p254) The proximal end of that junctionbwhere the two plates separatebis known as the gonydeal angle or gonydeal expansion. In some gull species, the plates expand slightly at that point, creating a noticeable bulge; the size and shape of the gonydeal angle can be useful in identifying between other ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 24 Apr 2025 11:18:28 +0200 From: "Herpesyl" Subject: These 3 Seeds Kill The Herpes Virus These 3 Seeds Kill The Herpes Virus http://tribalxforce.shop/GaFOUIgsd4nnxVlReLP_ygwHJmT4YPt7zC1ratvEslPKgCd_6A http://tribalxforce.shop/ek4cpbST65ZFXYR7J-wMwKfUpKTR6krWqUQTniIW-zu8luit5g mber 22, 1918. Some sources state Curran purchased the Cort Theatre prior to its re-naming, and sold it in 1922. However, a December 1920 report in Variety reports he divested of his financial interests in the theatre, indicating he was only one of several financial investors in the theatre at the time of that sale. He sold his shares in the Curran Theatre with the intention of building a new theatre with funds raised through that sale. The sale was prompted by an agreement he had made with the Shuberts in which they agreed to lease the new theatre from Curran for a period of ten years. Although Curran sold his financial interests in the old Curran Theatre in December 1920, he remained the theatre's lessee and manager through September 1, 1921. During his three year tenure at the theatre he worked closely with the Shubert family's theatrical enterprise, and the theatre was booked with productions the Shuberts brought into the Curran. Some of the productions performed at the theatre during the time included Thompson Buchanan's Civilian Clothes (1919), the Fanchon and Marco Revue (1919), and The Girl in the Limousine (1920). In 1921 Fortune Gallo's San Carlo Opera Company performed for three weeks at the theatre, performing a total of 18 different operas. The SFS orchestra remained committed to performing at the Curran The ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V14 #15961 ***********************************************
