I have a booteg of them playing Misplaced, the "Pick A Song Out Of The Hat" show at the Iron Horse. I also understand from Jian's story why they NEVER play it. And speaking of that, I have a boot where they play the Elvis Costello number, "Poor Napoleon". I take it this is a cover song they don't play often either. So, what are some other "rare" stuff they've done? This can be cover songs, unreleased songs, but no improvs. :) By definition, improvs can only done once, like inventing the wheel. :) "Play Lowest Highest Point!!!" And yes, I think everyone can agree on the fact that King Of Spain is their most played song. That could be right up there with TMBG's Particle Man. It's the song that can make the band cringe when they come to it on the set list. Linnell: "Oh God. Not that song again." Anyone taking notes for the discussion groups at Frucon? A.J. Yes to Jenny W, but they've played GMiA a heap -- usually at festivals and other "progressive" venues, and usually in the States iirc. (Most notably, they played it in Arkansas once -- and nearly had to run for their lives.) On setlists it's often called "Rush". - -- Lori ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The good news is that I can manage my finances with governmental proficiency. The bad news is that I do. -- M.W. Bizarre, too that she would be more familiar with a song by TMBG (albeit one of their most recognised songs) than with a Saturday morning cartoon theme. Is your coworker under 20 or over 40, or were they raised by wolves without a TV set? Otherwise, I'm baffled. Josh Drury Winnipeg P.S.
