"Huge on the Luge," with each guy singing a different verse. Is this a REAL NEW Fruvous song, or an unreleased one from years past? If this is new, this is certainly worthwhile...in any case, it's a very cute song. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 04 Dec 2001 01:14:23 GMT From: "Cap'n" <"capn"@home.com (deletethistoreply)> Subject: Re: his point SugarFly26 wrote: > But, it's equally important not to forget that many people > are behind us on this, and will be helping us with our actions, not > just responding to them. I live in Canada and I lost and uncle and a cousin on September 11. And while I realize many countries are behind America's actions, that includes Canada, if this war is pushed too far many of those countries may start to sing a different tune. There is legitimate war and there is revenge. I was simply pointing out that the American government needs to keep a close eye on the line between war and revenge and prevent it from disappearing altogether. (probably has something to do with the fact that ive only been listening to them for about a year and a half.) i wanted to stop and respond to so many of them but figured i'd wait. okay, here comes a long message, cuz this is my first time here and i have a lot to say!! :) so yeah, lets see...apparently like a lot of other people on here, jian is my favorite, although theyre all totally awesome. i love all of the slow fr|vous songs, but fly really hits the soul. its one of my all time favorite songs, but i usually prefer to be alone when i hear it. i think one thing i really like about it is that it makes so much sense and no sense at all, which is how a lot of relationships with me seem to go. and its sung with such emotion. i dont know if theres a special meaning to his necklace either. mine have special meanings. oh yeah, im ellen (Ln) an almost 16 sophomore from western mass..hiyas, howre you? :) in a few messages awhile back people mentioned "teenyboppers" going to concerts. fortunately that hasnt happened out near me. somebody posted a message (another ellen? :) titled my poor generation (or something to that effect) about her generation catching a lot of flak. just wanted to add my own sentiments to that... yeah it kinda sucks...what bothers me the most about people scorning especially teenagers is that its so stereotypical. in some places out here there are rules like only 2 unsupervised kids in a store at a time and stuff like that. i mean granted there are kids who'll steal and other stuff like that (heck i know a lot of them) but its not everybody. getting looked down on for liking fr|vous is no fun either. most adults i come in contact with havent heard them, but when they do, if they do, they look down on my choice in music because moxy swears several times, particularly in Live Noise. sometimes i get lectured on "the good music, back in the day". they dont get that i do like a lot of "the good music" (hey, i like everything from don mcclane, jim croce, the beatles, and some billy joel, to goo goo dolls, squirrel nut zippers, tori amos, aerosmith, rasputina, and they might be giants). i dont listen to fr|vous because they swear (heaven forbid!!) or because theyre a guy band and i must think theyre hot. i listen to them because theyre real, and they make music, (not like a lot of rap that i dont consider quite music. not all of it, but some) good music. thanks to adult listeners of fr|vous who dont freak out and say things like maybe you shouldnt be listening to these people to me because im a teenager. the messages about clothes (particularly jian's) were interesting...dont really have a comment on those. hopefully see ya soon! celebrisius, spiral ham, bloody nuclear cheddar, and a couple rainbow bubbles to ya all. be smiley! :o) <3 love always, ---> Ln :) ------------------------------ Date: 04 Dec 2001 03:17:22 GMT From: sugarfly26@aol.com (SugarFly26) Subject: Re: his point Josh said: <> Indeed.
