"...some left out because they're unworthy (efo, jian)" in "jaci-from-seattle's" note about the Best Albums of 2001 I have to say I was shocked! I think that Jian's "the first 6 songs" is great. It was my vote for the best new record of 2001 on WYEP's (91.3FM in Pittsburgh) listener survey. And if you get a chance to catch Jian's live show, the songs are even better than the studio versions. I'm sure "jaci-from-seattle" would disagree with some of my other picks for other top 2001 recordings, and that's fine, but I was really surprised at the "thumbs down" on Jian's great EP, IMHO of course.
