Hey everyone, I took some of the video footage I have of this year's Falcon Ridge Folk Festival and made a short video that I am calling "Images of Falcon Ridge 2001." It is really a work-in-progress, not a final video, but I wanted to put it up for a little while so people can see it. It is on my home page www.hakmusic.com, and will be up til the end of the month (now extended a little). The video includes shots of Jian among other favorite artists, as well as shots of the festival in general. Images of Falcon Ridge is just under 3:00 minutes long, and is available in multiple formats for cable or 56k modems. Also, for Falcon Ridgeites and Nields/Dar fans, I have a video clip of Katryna & Nerissa Nields reacting to the lights of Iowa (when the hillside was lit up during the chorus of Dar's song), which you may enjoy seeing as it captures one of the special moments of FRFF. This clip is temporarily up on my Nields video page (linked to my home page) but will be coming down sometime next week. thanks! I hope you enjoy the video, Harry www.hakmusic.com harry@hakmusic.com p.s. if you haven't picked up your copy of Come on in and Play, you can do so through www.bulletproofstore.com ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! IIRC The first "Fr|Con" was held in February because so many fans were converging on Toronto for the Pro-Choice concert the Lads were giving. Kind of a "Hey, look how many of us are going to be in teh same place at the same time, we should have a party!" It was not, and has not been, connected to the concert. Just timed with it. If they AREN'T going to be giving that concert, I see no reason to keep it in Feb. Although if they ARE, it would be nice. And the fact that a dear friend of mine who lives in Toronto has a birthday in February has no bearing on this whatsoever. :-) ladywench *sneaking back in and running away!* FruSpace - We came, we saw, we slept on the floor.
