It started off with The Punters at the Marquee in Halifax on Saturday night. They rocked the place as usual. Much dancing ensued. :) Sunday was the Big Birthday Bash with Mir, Crush, Big Sugar, Great Big Sea and Live. Now why they had an American band close out a Canada Day concert is beyond me but whatever. It had been almost a full year (364 days) since I'd last seen GBS and they were wicked as always. The crowd surfers were awful though. I must've had at least 10 pass right over my head during GBS's hour+ set. *ugh* Cheers, Melissa :o) Marie-Claude Danis wrote in message <3B400230.24154350@sympatico.ca>... > >So, did anyone see any good band for Canada Day? > >I saw Hennessey here in Ottawa, and Sugar Jones was also around >but I missed that. > >(Sugar Jones.
