If you haven't heard this band, you're completely missing out!! so amazing! :) They're a bit bluegrass, a bunch awesome... what more needs to be said? i know a few of you fru-heads have seen 'em at some of the folk festivals around the country... Anyway, i'm gonna be heading all the way down from NYC to the gig because this band is *that* good, and the people are all soooo nice in it too!!! i'll be there with all of the Virginia posse fru-crew as well and i would love to see as many of you kids as possible soooo, if you're in the area, don't have any plans... come on out to the show!!! if you're interested at all, feel free to get in touch with me! :) ok that's my community service announcement for the day... don't hate me for posting it here, i just think fruvous fans would love this music! take it easy, JOrdaN http://www.geocities.com/tmbgirl.geo/ Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 10 Oct 2000 22:16:11 -0400 From: Donna Hunt Subject: Re: Hey, I've been trying to reach you! Unless, of course, Mike Wook has been in some...then we could have two threads going simultaneously. Hmm. I wasn't really aware that there was a controversy going on over this. I think the only thing that seems somewhat odd is that you put it up on Ebay (an auction site). This implies that one is trying to get the highest bid possible, not just the $7.00 that the photo cost you to make. Perhaps you SHOULD have just posted it here and said that your cost was 7 bucks and so that was what you were selling it for. I seriously doubt anyone would have jumped down your throat for that. What people here get all prickly about is the idea of anyone making money off the band. You should have been around for the old debates about whether it was moral to sell used CDs. That was a hoot! Anyway that is just my 2 cents because I have other things I really must be working on, so consequently I'm reading the NG instead of doing them.
