Thanks for the "WTG, pat", Shelly! It was very cool to see so many faces that I recognize (especially from the house party), and personally a thrill to see my license plate t-shirt get a moment on camera. I thought the segment was really well done. Here's what I said to CBS: "Thank you for the wonderful piece Rita Braver & crew presented on Moxy Fruvous. As a Fruhead of 5 years, I feel qualified to say you did a great job of showing how multi-faceted the band's performances are as well as reviewing their history to date. I really liked to way you mixed chats with the guys, concert footage, excerpts from the videos, and shots of the fans. Bravo & Thank you!" Here's what CBS wrote back (no doubt a stock reply, but a reply nonetheless): "Thank you so much for taking the time to write. CBS appreciates your support and I assure you I will be sharing your comments. Sincerely, Ray Faiola Director, Audience Services" Way to Go, Fruvous! At the Irving Plaza show...You see bits of my head (and my face during the fadeout to the next scene) when giving tickets in at the door, and the camera is right behind my head about twice during the audience shot for Minnie the Moocher (kinda tall (not in real life but it looks that way on tv) with white t-shirt on the right side of screen)....
