Actually, Michigan Militia and Splatter Splatter work pretty well acoustically. MM would need a banjo, of course, but it's still acoustic. The weirdest jello concoction I ever consumed was actually Stealth jello, back in the early '70's .... someone got the clever idea to use red jello[1] as a base for a punch for a bridal shower. Mixed with ginger ale, and juices, and probably a slug or two of whiskey, and topped with fresh raspberries and strawberries[2], with sherbet to make it creamy. It actually tasted good, at least to a ten-year-old, although apparently no one except its creator had any idea what was in it. And so came time to clean up after the shower, and there was extra punch, so we poured it into soda bottles and tossed them in the fridge. Next day ... whoa!!! A solid, yet jiggly beverage, with more solid objects afloat in it! (much like an early version of Orbitz, I guess) - -- Lori Glitter Fairy/Tattooing Fru [1] the most multipurpose flavor of jello: red. (yes, there are "flavors" of jello. there's red, and green, and yellow [which is gross][3] and orange [which actually tastes almost like orange lifesavers, hence almost like an orange, and thus has the virtue of being the ONLY jello flavor whose fruit-named flavor corresponds to what your taste buds tell you. [2] someone mentioned putting pineapple in jello. I was under the impression that if one did this it wouldn't jell, due to the high acid content. [3]someone once made up a chart of jello flavours and how they corresponded to dishes in a meal. ie, red jello made the concoction a fruit, whereas green or yellow meant it was a "vegetable". Of course, Kyla's grandmother seems to be bending this rule with the raspberry-jello/vegetable nightmare cited above[4]. [4] I wasn't happy with only 3 footnotes. :) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 29 Feb 2000 12:04:05 -0500 From: "Jim Czadzeck" Subject: Re: Dave solo on Sarah Slean site It's a pretty cool track! Designed it from the ground up. Took five, maybe ten minutes. Did it during our morning break while we were waiting in line for the rest room.
