Thanks for some info, Falcon Ridge Folk Festival is a large wonderful festival held the fourth weekend in July in Hillsdale, New York, right by the junction of MA, CT, and NY. A lot of Our Favorite Bands will be playing there, and it's usually a time of Great Gathering among frufans. See http://www.falconridgefolk.com for an overview of 1999's festival. Mike wins the prize for being the first. I can't believe other people actually saw that movie! I swear I was the only person in the theatre. Actually, it wasn't half-bad for a kid's movie. The plot was something along the lines of this kid finds a rare stamp that allows him to shrink into the stamp, and he get mailed off to various places (Hong Kong, I believe and Australia). I don't remember how he shrinks or gets off the stamp again. But his sister (the girl I knew) goes after him to get thim back. Madness and mayhem take place, and it all ends happily ever after. The thing that I remember most about the movie is that it was originally done in french, and voiced over into english, so the mouths never matched up properly. That always amused me as a child. I just sat and watched their mouths moving. That and the style of film was exactly the same as Kids of Degrassi Street - that grainy low-budget quality that just screams THIS IS CANADIAN to me. It was a beloved show of my childhood. Everyone that I know watched it - of course back then we didn't have as much dedicated children's programming as there is these days. Perhaps it wasn't known to all of Canada - it did come out of a small station in Ottawa, so more than likely it originally only seen on affliliates in Ontario. >Hence the slime made Nickelodeon what it is today, so it only seems >right for them to adapt it.
