New Year's Night, the show my girl and I were too tired to attend, they did Poor Napoleon (Elvis Costello) and Independence Day (Springsteen)?? Anyone nail down the full complement of covers from both nights? Better yet, are tapes out there?? Funny as all hell that they did Cher's Believe as Steven Page of BNL did the same (along with a lot of other grandiose pop) on NYE at the arena a few blocks away. Oh well.... better luck next time. Last time they were in Ithaca it was mobbed. Perhaps i wasn't very clear or perhaps no one was interested either way i won't mention this again. While i was at the Northampton show i mentioned to Tobey that i thought it would be great to see Pitchfork (that is the band he is in) open for Früvous at one of the Lee's Palace shows. He seemed excited about the idea and thought it would be possible since one of his bandmates had recently moved to Toronto. I am asking that anyone interested in making this happen simply write to Moxy@passport.ca and let them know. thanks jude "Like my father,I have committe small daily.
