I'm confused... > As some people say, "Still plenty of good seats left!" > > Of course, there aren't really any seats in the 9.30 Club, so > the purpose of saying that there are plenty of good seats > left eludes me. the concept of "good" at the 9:30 club also eludes me, but I suppose for Früvous getting a good spot, keeping it, and not being totally crushed won't be as much of a problem as it is for, say, TMBG. (not because TMBG sell the place out and Früvous don't, but more because a lot of people who go to see TMBG feel the need to not be peaceful at shows) there actually are places to sit at the 9:30 club if you go upstairs and get to them in time. there might also be seats near the bar downstairs... also, recommendation for people going to the 9:30 club show - the lines have been forming earlier and earlier lately, so if you want to get a good spot, it's not a bad idea to show up around 7 (also if you show up early you might be able to get street parking, which is free, instead of the lots which, despite saying $7 on their website, cost $10) > Früvous will also be in Harrisburg a couple of days before they > play the Keswick. (And Harrisburg isn't *that* far from Philadelphia > or Baltimore....) hey! it's also not that far from Pittsburgh. well, ok, it is kind of far from Pittsburgh, but that's never stopped me before. :) - -- lawrence solomon * http://www.fruhead.com/users/zaph * zaph@fruhead.com "You knew it was true, when I held you, there were no secrets. They do, but unfortunately they only do that with the actual programs, like Pop-Up Video and Rock'n'Roll Jeopardy (we watch WAY too much of this station over here). The videos change. The freaky thing is, sometimes they'll play, at a corresponding time, a video by the same artist as was played in the first run some hours before. Maybe that's intentionnal, or maybe they just play WAY too much Tragically Hip. ;) I swear, The Tragically Hip are like sushi. Once you've had it more than once a day, it's impossible to give up! Most of that is only chords and tab, which are also available at FDC (thanks to the transcription work of many Fruheads) under the Moxy's Music section (http://www.fruvous.com/music.html). Here's what the FAQ has to say about sheet music: 5) Where can I find vocal sheet music for Fruvous songs? Fruvous Dot Com also has some vocal music and written out MIDI for some songs at http://www.fruvous.com/music.html. Sing Out! magazine also published the sheet music for Greatest Man in America in Fall of 1996. This is also available on FDC.
