Just a heads up to the group.. Here in lovely Montclair, NJ, Dar Williams will be performing at "Outpost In The Burbs" on Friday. (yes, THIS Friday!) Tickets are $18 prior sales, and $20 at the door on Fri. We're going, just 'cause it's Dar..and we're fans. Also, Patty Larkin is playing in December, with Nerissa and Katryna Nields opening the show, at Outpost's Holiday Show on Dec. 17. At this time, tickets for Patty are $15. If we don't go to this show, it's because we've fallen thru the Earth's crust. Also coming, Cliff Eberhardt, Steve Forbert and Greg Trooper. Come on out and see a show! If you want any more info, let me know, or check out Outpost's website at : http://www.outpostintheburbs.org/ Hope to see some of our fellow FrüHeads there! Cheers! Yes! As Fruwenchie said earlier, I have posted oodles of stuff to FHDC about all these shows...the Stanford one in particular! And at that show specifically (perhaps the other two, haven't decided yet) all the West Coast Fruheads will be able to gather in one spot and hang out since I'll be showing up with my "Fruheads West" homemade banner! Okay, it's a sign...not big enough to be a banner. :) I will also be at Stanford pretty early on Friday...perhaps 3pm, so if anyone wants to come along and hang out, they're more than welcome to! - -Taylor (of the Tacky Hawaiian Shirt!) ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 18 Oct 1999 17:23:32 -0700 From: Caitlin Subject: San Francisco OK, I'm lame. On the morning of the OC, NJ show I called up the venue; they had five tix in the very last row (out of about 35, 40 rows) left. I got two and spent the entire concert evading the security guards, dancing feverishly along the sidelines. At the very beginninng, though, I was withing 20 feet of Murray. Ahhh, life is good. Murray is good. But I digress. The evil, bleeping security folks drove us back, but we lingered and finally made our way back to Stage Murray by the encores. It was all good. So, never fear.
