Zap Mama is truly awesome.  Don't miss them.
I saw them in concert in 1993...they were so
much fun!  I also met Marie Daulne before the
show and she absolutely took my breath away.

Lori and Kate for being my co-conspirators in birthday present delivery
this summer!)

Yes, Joni speaks the truth--I made sure the shirt was 100% polyester,
and it has this sort of diamond pattern (you can kind of see it here:

you who wish to inspect it ;)).  Anyway, now I'm really mad that I set
my VCR to run only until 1:30 and I missed it, but it looks like I'll
have a chance to see when they run it again.  But I am sooooooooooo
excited!!!!  I cannot tell you how much I love that man :)  He really is
the sweetest person!!!

Silly Genna, reading quickly, she read it as "drummer/lead singer" as if it was
one person (I wasnt thinking splatter^2).  So into my imaginative little mind
seeps a mental picture of Jian w/ a beard. I didnt like that...not at all.

them one day, screamed, and scampered away very fast! The boys get better

TOO LATE!!!!  some one (who's name i didnt catch) tipped me off to this little
tidbit of information.  Curiosity killed *this* cat.  It would be quite and
understatement to say that I preffer Jian sans facial hair. <shutters>

I called the Side Door in St. Louis today and got some
marginally helpful information on the Wednesday, Nov.
3 show.

First, the club number is 314-231-6402. The number FDC
has now is for the restaurant that's the front half of
the building. (I know, it's goofy.)

Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door. They're
available through Metrotix. Doors open at 8:30 p.m.,
and the woman I talked to said, "There's no opening
act -- it's billed as 'A Night with Moxy Fruvous.' But
I'm sure there's an opener."
