So I set my tape. I set it for an extra half hour. I don't know why I didn't set it for longer. So I checked it this morning - and what time did the tape shut off? Just seconds into Mike opening his mouth to start singing. Argh - stupid television - I just *assumed* (never assume..) that the Canadian channel would be following it's own schedule, and since it didn't have baseball on, it would be okay. I thought to myself, "no, it can't possibly follow NBC's schedule - or else there will be dead air while they wait for the baseball game to finish" It was logical to me. I should have stayed up 10 more minutes to see if Letterman came on on-time. Or I should have set my tape for longer. Damn the "New VR" - first you took off "Leave it to Beaver" (running for well over 10 years in the same 12-noon timeslot) and replaced it with "Seinfeld" (lunch time will never be the same) - now you made me miss Fruvous. So, did they just sing Splatter Splatter or was there an interview as well? At least, I get a chance to see what they were wearing, etc. Sigh. Damn late night television. At least Mike Bullard is repeated 3 times during the night on the comedy channel - perfect for us who are VCR-challenged. Sara, who has made 2 VCR gaffes in the past two days - I only taped one hour of a two-hour movie that I wanted to watch. At least, I can go to the video (bargainville!) store to get that - I don't think they have copies of Conan though. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 13 Oct 1999 14:18:16 GMT From: "Wood, Nancy" Subject: RE: Conan > StarflashJ@aol.com wrote: >>>What happens if tonights baseball game gets pushed back?
