I've been lurking here since about the middle of March, and had only first heard of MF a couple of weeks before I started reading this wonderful ng, when an online friend of mine convinced me to look into them (Hi, D, if you're reading this. ^.^) Anyway.... I was lucky enough to meet /another/ online friend in person this weekend, and he took me to the Clearwater Revival after I went completely insane after he told me his sister and a friend of hers were planning on going, and I realized MF were going to be there. (I think the only reason he invited me is 'cause he took pity on me, though.) We only got to see their first set, since he had to drive out to Long Island to meet a few people, and Früvous' set seemed unbelievably short, but it was still... most awesome, one of the best concert experiences of my life. And I think my friend is now converted. ^_^ I'm thrilled to have finally heard Millie the Moocher... and I Will Hold On (think that's what it's called?) is beautiful. I probably won't get to see them next until Falcon Ridge, but will definitely definitely be there.
