For the record, paranoia-inducing is, in my book, sort of a corollary infraction to creativity-trashing, if that makes any sense. Like saying "So & So's carefully-thought-out and inspirational post was an insult to me and all my kind...and I'll bet s/he is also a dangerous criminal!" This is *too* perfect. I will be in N.C. on the beach that week, and it will be just a 2 hour drive up to see them. And, as a bonus, Eddie From Ohio will be playing in Kill Devil Hills, NC (2 blocks from where I will be) that very same week! I am psyched. Question for you all: Has anyone ever been to The Abyss in Virginia Beach, specifically the Nocturnal Cafe (where the lads will be playing)? I wonder because I would like to arrange to bring my 4 year old daughter to see the lads play, but am not sure if I want to bring her through someplace called the Abyss. I know they are an 18+ club, but I don't know if that applies to the Cafe. I will contact them to see if they will let me sneak her in, unless I get the impression from you all that the place is completely out of line for a 4 year old to see. Any help is appreciated.
