For those very few who were interested, i finally resolved that nagging Thorn(k)hill word association thingy -- literally, I awoke from a deep sleep in the middle of the night and knew the answer -- if you bore easily, delete now and move on with your life =) THORKILL (no "n") was the name of a Viking hero created by a fictional author in the plot of a convoluted murder mystery that my group performed a couple of years ago. Part of the plot revolved around fanatic fans, so we had hired a group of teenagers whose only job was to chant "Thorkill, Thorkill" anytime the fictional author entered the room (these shows are performed throughout a two day period with over 4 hours of scripted dialogue happening at various times and the rest of the weekend the actors mingle *in character* with the guests) -- I assume that the chanting subliminaly planted in my poor brain and resurfaced last week in an ugly, audio-Roarshack(sp?)-type flashback... sigh, my poor brain needs a Norton's disk repair and RAM upgrade.... tamra back to lurk, see ya at Falcon Ridge....if i can remember where i put my ticket... ------------------------------ Date: 24 May 1999 21:34:40 GMT From: limezinger@aol.commmmmmmm (LimeZinger) Subject: Re: Roch fru-crew (and others) get together... just on a side note... how many of us on here are in the rochester area..? about... 82%? :) sarah http://members.aol.com/limezinger linnellgirl@tmbg.org * icq #26873712 * mstie #77216 "i'm not afraid of succeeding nor am i of trying- but to say i knew exactly what i'm doing would be lying." --meryn cadell ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 May 1999 21:48:12 GMT From: vika@ibm.net (Vika Zafrin) Subject: Re: Fruvous on VH1? Every few weeks or so a different area or Neighborhood has some type of festival. The largest are the Lilac Festival, the East End Festival (which actually occured about 1x per month last year), The Corn Hill Festival, and the Park Ave Festival. Basically they're all the same; stages set up, artisans selling their wares, folks bein' outdoors socializing and diggin' the summer... Usually The Roch. I'd think Murray as Raoul (tho I think Raoul's a big wussie whiner, but since I haven't seen the show, what do I know?) Vocally my first thought is Mike for the Phantom... but character-wise I see Dave so well in the role. Jian could play the hell out of Firmin or Andre... Humbly submitted as my own opinion, of course. re the discussion of Persian Pizza Pizza employees: >Well, at the Friday Lee's Palace show, there was talk about Pizza Pizza > and Jian it to the brown guys who work behind the counter there a lot. Y'know, funny thing about that; we went to the Pizza Pizza across from Lee's on Fri, and we all decided the workers looked like they stepped out of Nintendo's Super Mario Bros. The brown folk we saw were at Harvey's the next day as Chris was getting his poutin fix. ;^} Richard started it, Chad breathed life into it, and Adam took it over the edge: >But with the aid of mighty musical sidekicks such as Jian Jian >Binks....and > noble yet spacey Queen Amitriptyline... ow. mental note... finish swallowing coca cola BEFORE reading ANYTHING from Richard, Chad or Adam!!!! Daveykin Skywalker, and Darth Cal, and Tobey Wan Kenobi, and Qui Gon Ford, and... well... Queen Amurraydala... sorry!
