FAQ's 1. For approval, what are the basic guidelines for qualification? a) Open checking account for 3 months minimum b) Recent bank statement showing no NSF's c) 6 month employment history, self-emloyed OK d) United States resident with valid Social Security number 2. Once paperwork is submitted, when will approval results be known? If paperwork is complete and the $25 fee is included, most approvals are given within one business day. Occasionally, processing could take a bit longer. 3. When are monthly payments due? How do I make them? The first payment is due 30 days after the date of the promissory note. All payments are collected via a pre- authorized debit which automatically deducts payments from your checking or savings account each month on the due date. 4. When is the loan funded after documents are signed? Loans are typically funded within 24 hours from the time UFS receives executed documents. Funds are typically received within 24 hours thereafter. The maximum time is 4 days from the time the documents are executed. 5. Is there a pre-payment penalty if I pay off the loan early? No! there is no penalty for either early payment or pre-payment in full. If you pay off the loan amount early, you simply save further interest charges. 6. Can I purchase the package outright? Yes. There is a discount of $100 off your package for doing so. Your price is only $1295. 7. What interest rate will I be charged? Rates vary depending on circumstances but will be similar to rates for personal loans with local and national finance companies. 8. Is the $25 application fee refundable if my application is declined? No. This fee covers processing costs related to obtaining credit information and assessing credit worthiness; costs are incurred by UFS whether or not the loan is approved. However, since the Automatic Debit Program is then made available as an alternative, this fee insures a professional financing option in one form or another. 9. Does the Coastal Alliance group have any equity interest in the United Financial Services or the loan underwriters? None whatsoever. The group has arranged for financing solely as a means to accomodate customers who need financing. 10. What happens if someone defaults on a loan? A loan through UFS is the same as a personal loan made through any financial institution. It will be collected using any and all legal means available. 11. When will I receive my vacation package? Your package will be on its way to you within 24 hours after loan is disbursed. The whole process from start to finish can be as short as 5-7 business days. 12.
