Okay, I confess - I don't hate Starbucks. If I'm within walking distance of an independent coffee shop that serves soy lattes (I know of two, and they're very close together), I'll go to that instead, but most of the time, Starbucks is the only sure bet. At last count I think there were...um...4 Starbucks in approximately a 3x10 block area in downtown Denver, plus a Barnes & Noble that serves Starbucks coffee (not to be confused with an actual Starbucks in a Barnes & Noble, as I learned after getting confused stares and laughter from the clerks when I asked for a soy latte at the former). The real reason I could never give up Starbucks entirely, though - I'm addicted to their mints. However, seeing as my summer has started and as of yet i have no job (this will change soon, but i'll still have LOADS more time then i did during the semester), this is what i propose: anyone who is still interested in working on a committe to bring this thing together, please e-mail me privately at adifru@hotmail.com and we can see how much interest we still have at this project. if there are enough people i would like to get started on this asap, however i realize that many people are still getting out of school and do not have time right now, so let's set the deadline for 2 weeks from today...that would be Friday June 4...for anyone to contact me about helping out OR if you want to help out at a later date (i.e. still in school at that time) just let me know WHEN you can start. Also, this *will not* be for anyone who just has material to comtribute, we'll get to you folks later...this first e-mail will only be for people who want to work at putting it together. when you e-mail me, please let me know when you can/would like to start and what you would like to do (edit, computer stuff, type...) if you know, if not that's fine too, i just want to see where the interest lies, AND any ideas you guys have as to HOW your want to do this...like i said i would love to help work on this sort of project, but i just don't have the knowledge and experience to head it up by my self. ok, i think that's it.
