Früheads are a friendly, computer-literate, ready-to-help-out bunch, right? OK, in my own defense, the only reason I ever seem to have these problems because my computer is so old-- its really hard to become computer literate when your trying to feed Hamlet into a computer that only reads Swahili. Anyhow, I decided that I want an MP3 player. So I downloaded one. And I can see it sitting there in my "downloaded files" folder, but I can NOT for the life of me get it to do anything. The only place it shows up is in my file cabinet, and when I double click on it, my screen goes blank for a second, and then comes back... with *nothing*. So here's what I'm assuming the problem is-- the fossil that I'm sitting at has windows 3.1 (yes, these programs are still around... sadly enough).
