If you are looking for current CDs, Sam's and HMV down at Yonge and Dundas (by the Eaton Centre, but on Yonge St, not actually IN the Eaton Centre) will have the largest selection and generally have the best prices (around $14.99 for new CDs). Watch out for Tower Records at the other end of the Eaton Centre (Yonge and Queen) - it tends to be more expensive than HMV or Sam's (and yes, prices do vary between the two stores, but generally only by a $1 or so - so it is up to you if your money or time is more valuable to you!!).
