Wow... I just have to share this, even though it sounds really goofy. During the Halloween NoHo show, I propped a little purple monster on the speaker (stage Mike). As some of you may recall, the monster was then brought onstage for a brief cameo, which culminated in its being catapulted off of Jian's cymbals and back into the audience, and my awaiting arms. ;-) Well, I was just browsing the articles section on FDC, and came upon a reference to my monster in the 11/03/98 Massachusetts Daily Collegian article... what a thrill! Here's the reference: "Using a megaphone as a means to manufacture ghostly sounds, guitarist Mike Ford was able to capture the audiences attention throughout the night, while singer and drummer Jian Ghomeshi sought enjoyment in determining how high a purple stuffed animal could project off a cymbal." Tee-hee! Now I'll go to bed remembering the monster incident, and the look on Mike's face after the concert when he asked me "what *is* that???" :) Lisa (Don't mention me, as I am unspeakable!) ------------------------------ Date: 12 Feb 1999 04:49:24 GMT From: toetappr1@aol.com (Toetappr1) Subject: Re: Philly and stuff.... >yeah, I know.
