Anyway, this week I started my internship with the Baltimore Symphony, and for the past 3 days, right down the hall from the PR department, there has been this huge box full of dumbeks! I've had to walk by them really quickly, so that I wouldn't be tempted to stop and try to play them. A few weeks ago, my friend and I in the car going somewhere, and I was singing YWGTTM. She looked at me and said, "You know, I have a book called You Will Go to the Moon at home," and I freaked out (I'd say, "I think I scared her," but as soon as she found out it was Fru-related, she understood). So she dug out her old copy and lent it to me, and it's the cutest book I've seen in ages. The lyrics to the song don't take much more than the title from the book, but it's adorable nontheless. I found a copy of you will go to the moon, at a used bookstore about two years ago. it is an early reader with lots of watercolor paintings of young strapping little aryan boys and far too many sexist images. I brought it to the Baltimore show in the fall of '98 and I got all four of them to autograph it. which was the only time I actively collected autographs from all four of the band members Dave told me how he had a copy of it when he was a child and his mother one day threw it away and he loved that book and always had fond memories of it. Each of them seemed to enjoy seeing a copy of the book. A month or so later I found another copy in a used bookstore, and I picked it up and gave it to Dave as a Birthday present at the last Frucon - --Rodney , "Carey Farrell" wrote: >A few weeks ago, my friend and I in the car going somewhere, and I was >singing YWGTTM.
