Anyone? Anyone? Okay, I'm imploring the older-school fruheads to rack their brains to help me on this one. In about 96/97, I attended a fruvous show in Welland, ON. It was some sort of Food Festival, and I remember it was very cold and wet so it must have been in a fall/winter month. I don't see this listed anywhere on FHDC, I see no pictures, no record of it at all... I'm not insane! (just heavily medicated, that's all!) I remember being there! I remember this very well because my family was going to visit my relatives far away the weekend fruvous was playing. I hadn't known about it at the time, but a strong feeling told me I could NOT go, I simply had to stay home. After presenting my parents with the arguments to allow my then-17 year old butt to stay home alone (AGHHH!!!) for the weekend, i was finally and reluctantly permitted to do so, but only at the last minute. It was the next day that i found out fruvous was playing only 15 minutes away from me in Welland, and me and my then-best friend went and had the greatest time. As i recall there were maybe 4 people there (well, not really, but i hope you get the exaggeration :). It was outside and very chilly, and i remember nothing of the show except that Murray gave me and my friend each a grin and nod from the stage, which made our night :) ANYHOO, I have one picture in my album from this event and I had mixed up the date and event and put Buffalo on it. Then i remembered it was the Welland show and changed it back. Here's my question: was anyone there? does anyone have any memory of this show existing? When it was? (ok, that's more than one question). I remember it being a total blast, and one of the reasons was that I had only found out about it literally the day before. I love spur of the moment shows :) I also recall having one of the best weekends of my life, not just because of the concert but because of all the other fun i had. I am convinced that I was totally *meant* to stay home that weekend, that having been the first time i was allowed to stay home alone for that length of time. Fate! Destiny!
