That reminds me of what I gave to Jian at the last concert. Okay this is confession time so don't tell me I'm a loon, i already know I am. I took pictures at The Birchmere when I first saw them. I then took great pains to get doubles of these expensive advantix pictures to give to the guys (I have *no* idea why know because they know what they look like!). Well I wrote messages on the back of them. Well, *blush* acting like a typical teeny bopper I put something like this on the back of my pic of Ji and me: I'm not sure if anything I was saying at that point made sense because the only thing running through my head at that point was gaaaaa (you know. The song when you go slack-jawed looking at something utterly beautiful). *blush* I know, I know; I'm not sure what possessed me to do that! Not too long ago I was think of putting it on my pic of Murr and me (I got his pic at the Harro East). I like giving them pix but I'm gonna stop because its pointless. *sigh* Well I guess confession is done for the day Fruchild, the ever mentally acute and infatuated ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. If you're nerdy like me and read every single thing in the booklet of a CD (literally everything), than you will note that, when listing members of bands who "appeared courtesy" of someone (on the lower righthand corner of the "relaxed, serious" picture), this is printed [verbatim]: Gregor Beresford, Chris Brown, Kate Fenner, Gene Hardy and Jason Mercer appear courtesy of the Bourbon Tabernacle Choir. Mike Ford, Murray Foster, Jean Ghomeshi and David Matheson appear courtesy of Moxy Fruvous... You will also notice, when perusing the lyrics for "If I Had $1000000," the people who participated in the recording of the song (aside from random folks who guested on instruments) are listed as such: The Suburban Tabernacle Choir: Dave Allen, Mike Barber, Gregor Beresford, Arlene Bishop, Chris Brown, Erica Buss, Meryn Cadell, Dave Clark, Andy, Jim and Naida Creeggan, Matthew De Matteo, Kate Fenner, Mike Ford, Murray Foster, Jean Ghomeshi, Gene Hardy, Natalie Harbert, Shelley Hines, Sally Lee, David Matheson, Lewis Melville, Jason Mercer, Janet Morassutti, Keith Nakonechny, Blair Packham, Jo-Anne, Matthew and Steven Page, Steve Pitkin, Jason Plubm, Ed and Wilma Robertson, Tannis Slimmon, Tyler Stewart, Earl and Wayne Stokes, Martin Tielli, Tim Vesely, Veteran Warhorse, Bob Wiseman This, of course, implies that all of these people are, together, called The Suburban Tabernacle Choir. What's really cool about this, if you're me, is that many of the band members had their family sing in the Choir (the Robertsons, the Pages, and the Creeggans). Also, several neat-o Canadian bands (or some members thereof) participated: Meryn Cadel (the Sweater Song!), The Rheostatics, and the Waltons, MF and The BTC. Very cool on their part, no? Cameron Ross said: >Ack! /me pulls out Gordon... they are members of the Suburban Tabernacle >Choir? cool... oh, wait... darnit, 2 things wrong with that... it's Bourbon not >Suburban, and they have the lads separate. I'm sorry, dude, but our laddies are indeed part of the Suburban Tabernacle Choir. That is my final word on the subject.
