In my experience, a lot of the time, the Bottom Line management leaves it to the performing band's discretion... I haven't had much trouble taking photos of other bands at that club, but each situation is different. I would ask at the door. And, since it's a fairly dark nightclub, they frown on anyone using electronic flash for photos. :-) So bring some high speed film (1000 to 3200 asa) and slap some blacktape on that flash. (The lighting on the stage is usually pretty good.) Dancing: If the club is full, there won't be much room for dancing. Also, if the show is"sold out," they usually have standing room only tix available at show time. The line forms outside and you have to wait in line until showtime in the freezing cold, but the bonus is that the standing room only tix are for standing by the bar, and seriously, in the BL, hanging out by the bar is a good place to be. Not only do you not have to wait for the waitress to get back to you, :o) you often have a better vantage point there then in some other areas of the club. AND you can dance, sorta. >Additionally, is there any parking? Yup. The garage i usually use is within two blocks of the cabaret. From the corner of the Bottom Line and West 4th street, make a right onto Mercer St. Make another right on 3rd Street and go about a half a block. The Washington Square parking garage will be on your left. I've always had luck finding a spot there, and the rates are reasonable. (comparitably.) You can leave your car there overnight, too. So, now, I need to acquire two tix for the Saturday shows. :-) I hope I can get them! - -- Tina O. http://home.earthlink.net/~kirifox ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 31 Dec 1998 16:20:18 -0700 From: "Bridget" Subject: Re: Fun with anagrams Katrin Luessenheide Salyers wrote in message ... :I rend rules.
