I realize these shows aren't sold out, but if there's anybody who's considering going but doesn't want to send off for tickets, let me know. Save yourself the $0.50 service charge, get your ticket from me. :) Also, is anybody from the DC area driving? I looked at Lynne's page and didn't see anybody driving from this part of the world. At this point, I think I'll take the train so I can put in half a day at work, but if somebody's driving and wants a passenger, I'm fairly entertaining and if I sing, I sing softly. - --Amanda - -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 09 Dec 1998 11:50:25 -0800 From: cookie Subject: Re: An Essay About Frvous--I Got an A on It!!! They must be all of 34! Is that when the mid-life crisis starts? I didn't think the crisis started until well after 40. If mid-life DOES start that early, I'm way behind schedule. I haven't even set up my first lyposuction appointment, let alone found a studly, 23-year-old boy toy to help me reclaim my lost youth! Geez. I'd better get busy! Seriously, I haven't been reading this newsgroup for several months because it's been rather depressing hearing about all the great shows going on everywhere else in the land, and not being able to get to ANY of them. However, today, I noticed a tentative show in LOS ANGELES on January 6, 1999!! Hooray!! It's about time! Any other southern California residents planning on attending the show--wherever it may be? Well, gotta run and pick out my cemetery plot. I dunno, some of our favorite kids' shows are on Nickelodeon (Blue's Clues, Gullah Gullah Island) and Disney (Bear in the Big Blue House). I've also found that my daughter loves skating, gymnastics, dancing and stuff like that, which isn't on PBS. Although, "CATS" is, and she's *loving* that! (So am I!) I will say this. My husband and I started contributing to PBS last year because we do watch an awful lot of their programming!
