I am looking SO forward to hear some of these new songs, granted River Valley is the first fruvous song I had ever heard (& learned the words to) and I was disappointed when I didn't hear it the first time I saw the guys in Ithaca (with an a) in April... but like, don't they now how cool it is to hear a song (or songs) before anyone else in the world? Makes 'em unique... any ole person can buy the CDs!!! :) Lynne, how many days till NYEve!!!?? ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 09 Dec 1998 03:59:19 GMT From: Lynne Fisher Subject: Re: Another Pointe-Claire Review So there I was... admiring the volume of the Fruvous NG folder, decided I read a few of the posts since I've had to put it off for a coupla days. So I start reading the reviews, Im an extremely visual person and these descriptions make me feel almost there (so thanks to you all for them) so I start getting excited for NYEve, and think "how wonderful is it that after 2 years of lame plans, I get to spend NYEve with my BEST friend in the world and the BEST band in the world" I am just so excited about being in NYC at the stroke of midnight, and kicking off the new year (last one before y2K-heehee, you know the collapse of everything we know[joke]) with fruvous, especially because *I* believe that you should be with people whom you consider to be very special on New Years Eve. >In addition.... I'd like to say how amazing it is that these guys take the >time to >talk to their fans... listen to their fans..... and really interact with >people on >a personal level. Do all the guys drink? anyone know? >It's a rarity.... and I know that I speak for a number of people here, >when I say >that us fans out here really appreciate the time and energy that the band puts >into each and every show they play. YES WE DO YES WE DO!!! >So, on behalf of myself, and probably others, I'd like to say: >Thank you Fruvous!!! go nate! - -Lynne ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 09 Dec 1998 04:13:13 GMT From: Lynne Fisher Subject: InternationalFru >fru-heads: What will you do with out fru shows?????? Who holds the baby? Tell me the child decides. How many men out there are circumcised, was it your choice? ladywench Playing Devil's advocate and expecting to be flamed for it.
