Ok, it isn't really Fruvous realted, except in a 6 degrees sorta way. I am a big fan of this songwriter from Alberta name James Keelaghan (, he and Früvous once played together in a Pete Seeger tribute in T.O, I think) Anyway, he is quite a bit more folky than the Lads, but has an amazingly beautiful voice. He wrote this great song called "Kiri's Piano" about the Japanese relocations that occured in the U.S during WWII, and it is just beautiful. So there you have it, my new suggestion. Crunchie Bars! !!! Those are my absolute favorite! Having lived my single-digit years in New Zealand, it drives me nuts that we can't get such good candy in America...all they have here is Hershey's. My other favorite was Milky Bars, this really rich white chocolate. Also, this isn't candy, but has anyone ever had Vogel's bread? I was raised on it and as far as I can tell you can't get it in the States (or anywhere in NA)... It's the greatest toast bread in the world. Ok, onto another subject. I just got Live Noise and I've listened to it a couple times - they have so much more intensity live! It's amazing. But I have a bone to pick. This has probably been pointed out before but I'm obssessively anal about such things as facts about my home state (NH- where I lived after New Zealand). And it just so happens that Mt. Washington is not in Maine, it's in New Hampshire! I've been there, we drove up it...it has the highest recorded windspeeds in the world and there's a tiny patch of tundra near the top. Ok...whew. Just had to vent. I know the guys know so much; can't expect them to get all their facts straight. I feel better now.
