All submissions must be received by 12:00 midnight on December 31st (so proper arrangements can be made for the prize). 2. Submissions may (and are even encouraged to) be Früvous related, but _must_ be something that people can call me in public. Profanity is endearing at a Früvous show, but not on the bulletin board in my dorm hallway :). 3. Currently my full name is Katherine Maureen (Elisabeth) Leahy (confirmation name in parentheses). We're looking to change the Katherine part here, but middle name submissions are also welcome. 4. Winners will be selected totally on the basis of my own personal tastes :). There aren't really any "ins" here--I'm just looking for whatever strikes me :). Most of all--consider this an exercise in the joy that is Früvosity. Let your creativity fly--your not naming your kid here. You're naming a really weird 18-year-old (who will be 19 in 13 days!!!). So go for it! My 1st was Billy Joel at the Hartford Civic Center on July 11, 1980. I don't know if he had an opening band or not. It was a great show, that much I remember. Erm... do I have to admit that I saw Doc Severinsen at the Springfield Civic Center in 1978? 'Cuz that would be sort of embarassing. (Even tho' I loved it!) Murray (er, "Kate Capshaw") performed Bittersweet as part of a 'four solos' opener at the Ark last year -- 4/22/97. He sang the first verse & chorus a cappella, and the second verse/chorus ("The boy with the bloated belly...") with his bass.
