Good choices. However, I think it would be a stretch to say Frouvous is much like the Hip. There is a healthy Hip newsgroup, however, at alt.music.tragically-hip. I'd rather not go into all the details of the crisis in East Timor, save that it is one of the biggest atrocities of this century. I encourage all of you to do your own research on the web and see what has happened and is happening down there, and how Starbucks plays in all of this. Jian, if you have any more information on this, please send it my way (pschwan@bgnet.bgsu.edu) because I'm having trouble finding information on Starbucks. I'm pretty sure it's not Chain Stores he's boycotting:) - -Phil ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 09 Nov 1998 15:51:25 GMT From: "Schwan, Phil" Subject: Re: Renaming the world (was Have you ever noticed) For a laugh, if you have Microsoft Word95 or 97, do the following: type "Unable to follow instructions" somewhere highlight the text go to the Tools menu choose Language choose Thesaurus Look at what it says in the "Replace with synonym:" box :) PS-if you don't have MS Word, write me and I'll tell you what it says or send you a picture of it:) - -Phil ------------------------------ Date: 9 Nov 1998 16:56:59 GMT From: jenncyn@aol.com (JennCyn) Subject: Re: Has anyone ever noticed? >>At least you don't have a last name the spell checker corrects to >>"dreary".
