One, it should be ../pre97pic... and two, there don't *seem* to my sleepy eye to be any pictures from either Sep. 6th, 1994, or June 9th, 1994. Are you sure, Marie Claude? Fruvous are very lenient about letting people tape their shows, and these two frufans over here are notorious for their good taping. ;) Vika Zafrin vika@ibm.net Vika_Zafrin@Brown.edu "You _will_ observe my pouting!" - ChrisO ------------------------------ Date: 23 Oct 1998 16:14:42 GMT From: "Arbie Fru" Subject: Re: I've lost my sanity and I don't miss it Don't know about the hockey thing but I do know it has been mentioned on several occasions on the show that he has a brother Pat who is a comedian/actor living in LA. I have no idea if it is the same Mike Bullard. And I never did go and see Dave Brown's attempt at standup comedy, but I remember reading reviews that said he was not very good. But here's my question: as a lifelong Flyers fan and several-year Fruvous fan, I can't help noticing how often the guys mention my favorite hockey team on stage. At first I assumed it was because I only saw shows in the Philly area, but I have since heard some tapes and read reviews on FDC of shows from other areas where they also mention the Flyers, and Eric Lindros, and one show where one of them (Mike?) is wearing a Flyers jersey. Are they fans? I know they are hockey fans in general, and I was very impressed when at the Phila Folk Fest in 1995 they made references not only to Bobby Clarke and Bernie Parent, who most casual hockey fans know of, but also to Ed Van Impe (a very slow and untalented defenseman from the 70s) and former coach Fred Shero, and even Kate Smith (no, she didn't skate for the Flyers, but they used to play her recording of God Bless America before crucial games, and they always seemed to win when they played it). So maybe they are/were Flyers fans? Or just very knowledgable about 70s hockey. Or maybe they just did some research so they could impress the Philly crowd by mentioning Ed Van Impe. Well, I was impressed, anyway. - -Alan ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 23 Oct 1998 18:05:11 GMT From: Srm9988n@aol.com Subject: Re: February Warm-Up In a message dated 98-10-23 11:05:22 EDT, you write: Doug wrote: that Chad wrote: >>[As the drunk people on "stage" sing the guitar part in their heads >> between first and second verse of the Drinking Song and wait silently] >> > >Person A: Are they done? > >Person B: I dunno.
