I'm way beyond caring. That was very creative and funny as hell. Long story, but when they say you shouldn't get bleach and peroxide anywhere near your eyes, they aren't kidding. (side note, don't ever get angry when you've got a bottle of bleach in your hand). You wouldn't be able to tell just by looking at me... since well, i've been sighted for so long which means no lazy eye or anything but still... it majorly blows... depth perception is gone but i'm adjusting, and distances aren't that fun either. (that's why it sucks to be thrown in the balcony at a frushow!) >Now, I wear a prosthesis (a scleral shell) over >what's left >of my eye. hehee... the other day my buds tryed to get me to wear a patch... i was entermused (entertained/amused), but prolly not as much as they were. :P >So if I bump into you or don't see you on my right...this >is why. >*g* I have a tendency to joke about this now...which I think is >better than >crying over it. :) The only time i ever have any problems with it are when #1 people are like "wow! you can't see anything out of your right eye? close your left eye... i wanna see." then proceed to throw things at me... that, that's not cool. #2 driving (heh, not cool either) #3 playing ultimate frisbee and water polo (this really pissed me off cuz i really enjoy playing these). I'm adjusting to it but i have this thing where no matter what i think the frisbee/ball is flying right at my head...did i mention the problems i have with depth and distances? take it easy, JOrdaN http://www2.netcom.com/~arnot/joda/bootlegs.html rambling a lil too much about my personal life :P ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Kat, As far as Great Big Sea goes, you can get an album of theirs in the US. It's called Rant &Roar, and is a compilation of their2 most recent cds. You should be able to find a copy at your local music store, or at either Media Play, or Border's. I've seen them at both stores in Syracuse. They are usually found in the International/Irish section. You might have to ask for some help finding it. Anyway...Goodluck! Daniel "signature currently under construction...
