It went way over my head until they explained it :) Explain that? My first thought was reversing the sounds at the beginning of words and came up with stash of boo and laughed, but I don't thinks that it. - Chad PS Boo at the Zoo had to be the best advertising for any zoo I've ever seen. That's from the Nashville Zoo. I guess they had some animal named Boo that they were showing off, but that wasn't the way I read it. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 01 Oct 1998 10:17:35 -0700 From: Nate DeRose Subject: Re: What would I make? Yeah! That's one of the stranger flicks I've seen........ It's really not all that impressive..... Well, I'm all for the liquor idea, but why not go somewhere pretty.... with a nice view, and no over-commercialized crap? That sounds really promising. Was that railroad tie being tapped on? It coulda been a Stick, which is a rocking instrument, especially in the hands of a good player (Trey Gunn and Tony Levin come straight to mind). Organ, drum kit, and bass is my favorite configuration for a tight modern jazz ensemble (witness Medeski, Martin, and Wood. All very talented musicians - though right now Martin is taking a break and Medeski (one of the best Organ/keys players around), Wood (durned fine bass player on top his instrument), and Scofield (definitely a top jazz guitarist) and Clyde Stubblefield (a monster kit player) are touring. If they get near you and you enjoy groovy jazz, go! But I digress completely and totally. I wasn't at Slim's, but Organ, kit, and Stick would have at least been interesting. Who was playing lead? The stick player or the organist? - Chad ------------------------------ Date: 1 Oct 1998 15:30:56 GMT From: june529@aol.com (June529) Subject: Re: Irving Plaza shows--NEED INFO! > I need information about the Irving Plaza shows on Nov 10 and 11. ..But what about the 11?
