"sueer"? "sueee"? I love it--"sueee" sounds like you're trying to call in the pigs. But "sueer"--would that sound like "sewer"? You're putting the Beatles in the sewer? Cue up The Drinking Song. Right after Mike says "Between pulls..." Somebody takes his picture right there in the isolation booth. At first I thought it was just a bad edit, but on a second listen, it's definitely the "click, zzzzzt" of a camera. Suddenly I felt like--wow, it's almost like I'm in there with him or something. The act of taking a picture--of capturing a moment forever on film--is itself locked forever into the grooves (whatever) of that record (whatever). Pretty cool. And say "hi" to Richard for me...You're probably the one I won't meet for quite sometime...at least until I go backpacking in Europe (next year??? hoping!!!!) I love it. It's a brilliant album, shows under your belt or no. It's a solid investment (especially to hear "Naked Puppets." Trust me on this one). George Nowick speaks the truth (hey George). Of course there will be more folks who aren't on-line, and will just hear about it that weekend, but that's grand too! Hope to see you there!! Skip the exams - who needs 'em?!
