And others are getting tight due to the occurrence of parent's weekend, as previously mentioned. It seems that most of us who live within a half hour of the IH don't have space for guests. I believe Gordon was looking into getting a house for the weekend, but i've not heard from him on this. As far as tickets are concerned: they are available NOW at the box office in NoHo. Tix are $14 each in advance, $16 at the door. I will be driving up to purchase mine sometime this week. I'm willing to purchase tix for others, but need to have the money in advance. (And I don't necessarily have to get them this week... I am frequently in Noho for other stuff.) Contact me privately if you want to see about working something out with that. ciao, leah (lhunting@skidmore.edu) /*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/ ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 Aug 1998 13:54:05 +0000 From: em Subject: Re: Books for Frutripping? Yay! Another Charles de Lint fan! I agree, his stuff is really great. My personal favorites are his short story collections, _Dreams Underfoot_ and _The Ivory and the Horn_. His writing style is addictive, though, and he's written so much that I've had to clear out a whole shelf to fit just the books of his that I've bought (there's lots more I haven't found). em Caitlin wrote: > > (I have, just for the record, done the MBLABOA reading list... They're $14 by phone (per ticket) if I remember correctly so if you could get a bulk purchase that would probably be a good thing esp. for those who are strapped for fundage.
